How Nestas Click Connect Learn fund helped the Foundation successfully pilot Tutorfair On-Demand

How Nesta's Click Connect Learn fund helped the Foundation successfully pilot Tutorfair On-Demand The Tutorfair Foundation has been working with Nesta since September 2017, when we were selected for a grant as part of their 'Click Connect Learn’ fund. The fund was set up in collaboration with The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport to support innovations that use digital technology to enable volunteers to tutor disadvantaged pupils. Nesta’s support enabled us to build and pilot Tutorfair On-Demand  â€" a completely free to use text-and-image-based instant messaging platform that connects students with volunteer tutors instantly through their devices. Now, the platform is connecting us with schools in the North-West and West Midlands as well as giving us a far greater reach across London and the South-East. Our volunteers also have a much more flexible way to get involved with Foundation activities if they have busy schedules or aren’t living in London. With the final report from Click Connect Learn due to be published at the end of October, we received the following testimonial from Jed Cinnamon, the Programme Manager in the Education Team at Nesta who has worked with us right through the grant cycle to help deliver the project: ‘We backed Tutorfair On-Demand through the Click Connect Learn fund,’ says Jed, ‘because Nesta are excited about the potential to raise educational attainment for students who can be hard to reach with face-to-face volunteering.’ '[The Foundation’s] aim is to reduce inequality in education by providing eligible students with free tuition in GCSE Maths through instant messaging to their own devices. The pilot began with 4 schools at the start of the 2017/18 academic year, but the platform has since grown to support 34 schools.’ ‘Tutorfair achieved all the important objectives of the project, including the technical build to plan, on budget, and on time.   They were able to work around some major challenges, including a proposed partner going out of business and a key person finding a new opportunity during the project.’ ‘The Tutorfair On-Demand app is accessible to students when they want and need help, which makes the platform unique. The flexibility of volunteering on the platform is appealing to volunteers; and there is huge potential that the app will be able to prove its impact on attainment once it reaches large enough scale.’ ‘During the project, Tutorfair produced clear, detailed and punctual reports. They focused on understanding, in detail, what was working and what was not working on the platform using qualitative and quantitative data and collecting valuable feedback from tutors, students and teachers.’ ‘The Tutorfair team are professional, collaborative and cooperative, and they participated fully in sharing learnings with other grantees and projects at our events. Nesta are happy to recommend Tutorfair Foundation as a grantee to develop and manage worthwhile educational technology and tuition initiatives.’ Tutorfair On-Demand will be reopened for 2019-20 academic year in early November. If you’re a leader at a school where the student population is greater than 50% Pupil Premium eligible, you can register your interest here. If you’re interested in volunteering on the platform, let us know here  and if you’d like to help us with our fundraising, contact the team at foundation@tutorfair.com to get involved. Its All Greek To Me The Greek Debt Crisis Explained

It's All Greek To Me The Greek Debt Crisis Explained Image by Margaret Barley via Unsplash Greece, having had very early success, was then on the receiving end of some serious problems. After fending off Persians, Scythians, and a number of other hostile neighbors for centuries, Greece was conquered by the Romans in 146 BC. After the collapse of Rome, Greece remained under the control of the Byzantines who considered themselves Romans. From then on, Greece enjoyed prosperity until the Crusades. Then between the Muslims and the Christians, who practiced a different form of Christianity than the Greeks, the country changed hands quite a bit. Since then Greece has been one story of invasion, counter-invasion, and counter-counter-invasion after another from the Ottoman Empire all the way up to Germany and Italy in WWII. Post-war, Greece came very close to falling under the Iron Curtain, but because of the U.S., it remained a capitalist monarchy. After a coup d’état in the 70s, the monarchy was abolished and Greece became a formal democracy after a period of military rule. Fast forward to 2001 when Greece joined the Eurozone, an economic and political union meant to unite the continent under one currency, one monetary policy, and one government. Formerly using a currency called the Drachma, Greece adopted the Euro like other members of the Eurozone. As part of the agreement to join the Eurozone, Greece had to adopt certain economic policies to become a member and ideally to stay a member. These included the adoption of the Euro, agreement to print and mint a certain amount of money in Greece for the Euro, have no more of a national budget deficit of 3 percent, and a debt to GDP ratio of no more than 60 percent among other things. That’s a lot of important criteria, but it’s not well understood by the general populace so let’s explain some of this. First off, why do governments have debt? Don’t they just collect taxes? Well the answer to the first is complicated, but the answer to the second is easy: no, they don’t. Governments frequently get revenue from different places. That might be sales of hardware or services from government departments. However, these don’t procure debt for the government. Debt is accrued with loans. For example, if you want to start a business, it’s going to take quite a bit of money. You might ask your friend for some money and they’d lend it to you with interest. Well governments can do that too, actually. This money lending is done with bonds and loans. Bonds are simple ways of ensuring that the government gets a needed influx of cash and has time to pay it off, usually 10-30 years. Loans are usually larger investitures though and may be from other governments or private investors. If it’s the latter, the loan recipient’s national bank, like the Federal Reserve or the Bank of Greece, sets the interest rates. So governments like Greece can borrow money on their own terms, set by their bank. So what do governments do with the borrowed money then? Well, in good economic times, they invest it in the economy and use it as incentives for businesses to expand. This subsidization is a great helping hand to a struggling economy and can then increase business. With an increase in business, the government sees an increase in tax revenue. Hence, it is actually a good idea for governments to borrow money, as the increase in borrow means an increase in government investment in the economy and in turn economic growth and tax revenue. As a business model this works out pretty well, as long as the loan interest rates don’t get too high and the economy keeps growing. Here’s where the problem starts. (chart credited to Eurostat via www.atsbullion.com) In 2008, the global economy took a nosedive. With the nosedive, investors got scared that tax revenue from  governments would not increase and so they stopped investing. By this point, governments had been borrowing for years and had grown to rely on it. Consequently the governments could not pay off debts now owed to investors. To incentivize investment, many national banks like the Bank of Greece increased interest rates on loans to make them more appealing to investors, but on the flip-side made the loans harder to pay off for Greece. This was tried elsewhere to some great success actually. Many countries pulled up out of the recession and are now doing well like Ireland and Portugal. However, Greece’s economy was largely dependent on two industries in 2008: shipping and tourism. During a recession, consumer spending goes down as people have less to spend so these two industries have historically done poorly in times of recession. On top of this problem of increasingly expensive loans and decreased revenue from businesses, individuals in Greece are notorious for tax evasion. The country is wracked with corruption and the entire country is notorious for flagrantly evading taxes, even bragging about it. In the U.S., talk like that lands you with gargantuan fines and lots of jail time a la the Internal Revenue Service. In Greece the problem is so bad that the Social Science Research Network has estimated conservatively that 28.2 billion Euros are unclaimed in Greece! That is, the total value of these taxes represent almost 8 percent of Greece’s debt. With numbers this high, Greece has got to crack down on tax evasion. So why does all this matter to you? Well for starters, it’s a good idea to keep up on global news, but this is especially important because the U.S. is tied to the Eurozone very closely. Trade between the two is very high so whatever affects one affects the other. This is also particularly important because the U.S. has a large economic debt. It’s in the trillions! That kind of magnitude is simply too big for most minds to comprehend how big that is. Unfortunately tax evasion is as big of a problem. The U.S. leads the world in tax evasion totals, but Russia leads it in percent of GDP. So fortunately, its not as large of a percentage and thus a lesser problem. The U.S. economy is also robust and diverse, but Greece has lessons to teach us all.

Utilize Your Soft Skills to Find a Job

Utilize Your Soft Skills to Find a Job via Pexels Todays employers are looking for the following skill sets: Listening skills (74%) Attention to detail and attentiveness (70%) Effective Communication (69%) Critical thinking (67%) Interpersonal skills (65%) Active learning/Learning new skills (65%) The majority of employers surveyed  (73%) said it was very or somewhat difficult finding qualified candidates, and about one-third (34%)  say schools have not properly prepared students for jobs. Michael Hansen, the CEO of Cengage,  the largest U.S.-based education and technology company serving the higher education market, says “these results show that we must not underestimate the power of the people factor in the workforce.   Technology and automation will continue to change and replace jobs, but there are skills that cannot be automated, such as the ability to think critically or problem solve. “There is a need for more soft skills training, both in college and on the job, and today’s learners and graduates must continue to hone their skills to stay ahead,” Hansen continued. “The onus is on everyone â€" students, colleges, employers and industry partners like Cengage â€" to make learning more accessible, relevant and affordable.” The survey asked college students how easy it was to find a job, and 65% of students surveyed said that finding a job is more difficult in comparison to their parents generation. About 25% of students are worried that jobs will become less and less available as technology steps in to take over more and more jobs. However, even more students (77%) worry more  about having the  skill set  needed for a job. One in three students believe their education has  not adequately prepared them  for the workplace. “For candidates willing to hone their ‘uniquely human skills,’ there is opportunity,” said Hansen.    â€œWhile employers anticipate that computer and tech skills will be among the most coveted in the next five years, many human skills, such as critical thinking, communication, and the ability to learn new skills will remain important.” For more information about the survey, please visit  https://www.cengage.com/todays-learner/career-readiness#skillssurvey.

How to Master Writing in a Foreign Language 5 Steps at Any Level

How to Master Writing in a Foreign Language 5 Steps at Any Level 5 Steps to Master Writing at Any Level Have you ever gotten an email full of spelling and grammatical mistakes?Eep!Chances are you have, and chances are it didnt leave  a great impression. When you write in a foreign language, you dont want to be the person  whose correspondence is riddled with errors. That, among other reasons, is why writing well is an essential part of learning any language. Why Writing Is So ImportantWriting Is Essential to Long-distance CommunicationNeed to communicate with someone who isnt sitting across from you? Youll probably need to use some form of written communication. Even if youre setting up a time to make a phone call or have a language lesson over Skype, youll probably be sending an email, instant message or text message. Using online chat rooms, forums and comment sections of articles, sending snail mail and even updating your social media in a foreign language all require writing skills.Mistakes Make You Seem UneducatedIt wont always be obvious that youre not a native speaker of your t arget language, especially if youre reaching out to someone for the first time. Errors in your writing will make you seem like you havent done your homework. People may doubt your ability to understand their reply. Thats not a good first impression to make.Language Tests Measure Writing AbilityDo you need to prove you can speak your target language? If so, youll probably be asked to prove you can write it. Most language tests measure your ability to write, either by asking you to write something in the language or by testing your ability to fill in the blanks in a sentence.Often the oral parts of language exams are less rigorous or theyre considered optionalâ€"I know thats the case with the HSK, which measures Chinese language proficiency. So being an excellent orator will not make up for below-average writing skills on many language exams.Writing Is Essential for Professional CommunicationIf you hope to use your target language in any remotely professional capacity, being able to w rite with relatively few mistakes becomes even more essential. The stakes are high in professional communication. You dont want to make any faux pas in an email to a client or supplier who speaks your target language, nor would you want to use the wrong greeting or make a glaring mistake in a cover letter to a potential employer.Mistakes in Writing Can Lead to MiscommunicationWhen you speak, smoothing out a misunderstanding takes seconds or, at worst, a couple minutes of confused back-and-forth. But when you write, choosing the wrong vocabulary word or garbling your grammar can cause serious problems with comprehension that end up taking a long time to unravel. There are less non-language clues for the reader to go by than for a listenerâ€"things like body language, gesture and context. Because of the nature of writing, back and forth communication is also slower, so it takes a longer time to figure out what you actually meant to say. Its so much better to write it correctly the first time.Ways to Improve Writing at  All Proficiency LevelsLearning to write in a foreign language isnt that different from learning to write in your native languageâ€"which took you 12 years of formal schooling to master. In most cases, the difference is that you have to be  more self-motivated to master writing in a foreign language, because you wont have 12  years worth of teachers forcing you to spell correctly. However, the same habits that make you a good writer in your native language will help you be a better writer in your target language.Read in Your Target LanguageChildren who read have better language skills  and language learners who read in their target language have better language skillsâ€"especially better writing skills. The benefits of reading accrue from any type of reading, not just active reading. Even if youre reading a romance novel or Harry Potter book in your target language and youre casually  skimming over anything you dont understand, the increased exposure to the language in its written form will help you develop better writing skills.Get Corrections on Your WritingThe best way to build a solid writing ability is to write and get corrected. Remember: This is how you learned to write in your native language. If youre studying independently, you can get corrections on your writing on sites like Lang-8. If youre working with a private tutor, make sure he or she gives you written homework and corrects it, explaining any mistakes.Once youve gotten your writing corrected, make sure to rewrite your text  to incorporate the corrections. That will allow you to internalize and practice the correct grammar, vocabulary and style in your target language.Pay Lots of Attention to GrammarWriting well means having impeccable grammar. When you speak, its easy to slur declensions  (in many languages, native speakers do just that) and generally hide a less-then-ideal grasp of grammar. Theres no way to hide poor grammar when you writeâ€"everything is bla ck and white on the page. So becoming a better writer means a complete grasp of grammar rules.5 Steps to Master Writing at Any LevelBuilding the Foundation: 5 Beginner-level Steps to Get Started  Writing1. Learn  the RulesYour first step as a beginner is to learn the building blocks of your target languages writing system. If the language has an alphabet (most do), that means both mastering the alphabet and learning spelling rules. Note that even if youre learning a language that uses the Latin alphabet, youll still have to learn some new letters, accents and pronunciations. If youre learning French, for example, youll need to master the  accent marks  and to know when  a c  should be written with a  cédille (ç).  If youre learning Chinese or another language that uses characters, focus on learning both basic, common characters and the building blocks of those characters (radicals).2. Master Basic GrammarWhen youre a beginner, its easy to feel like the grammar rules youre learning a re boring and stuffy. But this stage is all about foundation buildingâ€"it might not be super interesting, but its extremely important.Take all of your grammar lessons very seriously. You should also make sure you do grammar exercisesâ€"which count as writing practiceâ€"and get corrections to make sure you internalize and master grammar concepts as they are taught.3.  Focus on Correct SentencesWhen youre a beginner, dont try to write out huge compositions. Focus on writing simple sentences, but writing them correctly. Grammar exercises are a great example of a writing exercise for beginners. Dont get caught up in the quantity of writing youre doing. At most, your compositions should be about a paragraph long. At the beginner level, its better to focus your energy on doing a little well than doing a lot poorly.4. Keep Subjects SimpleAs a beginner, dont focus on writing complex tales using constructions you dont really understand. Beginner vocabulary and grammar concepts are generally very descriptive and concrete. The nouns youre learning are the kinds of things that you can point to or hold in your hand rather than abstract concepts. Grammar youve learned will be similarly concrete. Heres some subjects that are well-suited for beginners writing:Descriptions of your family, your home, your bedroom or your hometownDescriptions of your routinesâ€"how you spend the weekend, what you do at work, how you make dinnerDescriptions of what you did during the past day, weekend or on your last vacationThe bottom line is that you shouldnt be trying to argue about the meaning of lifeâ€"just focus on writing about simple subjects and doing so correctly.5. Write LonghandIf youre like most people, you probably do most of your writing on the computerâ€"in your native language or any other language. Your computer probably double-checks your spelling and might even have a grammar check as well.If youre learning a character language like Chinese, the experience of writing on the com puter is substantially different (easier) than writing longhand. The only way to get good at writingâ€"and to build a really solid foundationâ€"is to practice writing by hand. Here are some things you can write out by hand:Diary entriesShopping listsRemindersRemember, thoughâ€"if you really want to master writing, you need to be not just writing for yourself, but getting corrections on your work. So dont write anything so personal that you wont be willing to share with a teacher!Moving Forward: 5 Steps to Take as an Intermediate Writer1. Move to More Complex Subject MatterAt the intermediate level, you should start writing about more complicated subjects that require more advanced vocabulary and grammar.Current events is a great subject to practice with, because theres always something going on! You can also keep it personal by writing about experiences further in your past or your plans for the future.2. Write Longer TextsAt the intermediate level, you should be trying to write mor e than a few sentences. Do at least some writing that hits the 500-word mark. You should also start thinking about more than just whether or not each individual sentence is grammatically correctâ€"make sure that you can write a coherent paragraph with sentences that relate to each other and flow correctly. This means learning to use pronouns appropriately and learning the phrases your target language uses to refer back to ideas that have already been mentioned.3. Start TypingOnce youve established a strong foundation by writing longhand, you should move to typing.Youll need to change your keyboard to your target language. If your target language is Arabic, Russian or another language that doesnt use the Latin alphabet, I would recommend getting keyboard stickers as well.Typing well involves a lot of practice and is like learning a manual language, so it will take practice to get to point where you can type as fast in your target language as in your native language. Using the computer opens up a huge number of opportunities for writing in your target language, such as:Using social media. Pay attention to which social media platforms are used by speakers of your target language. If youre learning Russian, for example, set up a VKontakte profile. If youre learning Chinese, a Weibo account is basically a must.Commenting on blog posts. Reading blogs in your target language is a good way to get in plenty of reading practice, and participating in the online discussion is excellent writing practice.Utilizing relevant apps. Other apps that have a written component, ranging from dating apps to weight loss apps that force you to write updates.4. Learn Specialized Writing StylesWriting well, like speaking well, requires using the correct phrases, vocabulary and style for the circumstance. Different types of writing require radically different types of vocabulary and often have their own set phrases and formats that are quite different.Using the correct greeting is remarkab ly important if youre sending someone an email or letter. Here are some types of writing that most likely have specific formats that you should learn:EmailsLetters, both formal and informalCover letters and resumesInternet slangOther types of writing, depending on your goals as a language learner, might include academic papers, news articles, reports or scripts.Youll also want to learn set phrases like once upon a time.5. Read in Your Target Language and Write SummariesOne of the best ways to practice writing is to summarizeâ€"in your own wordsâ€"things that you read in your target language. This type of exercise is ideal for writing something that can be  corrected by a language exchange partner, teacher or tutor (remember you want to get corrections on at least some writing, and youre less likely to be corrected on your social media posts). The goal is to use the reading material as a way to learn new vocabulary and sentence structures and then to summarize the piecesâ€"without refe rring to the originalâ€"so that the vocabulary and turns of phrase are internalized. Basing your writing on something youve read also eliminates the need to come up with a subject, which is surprisingly difficult when facing the blank page.Mastery: 5 Steps to Dominate Writing as an  Advanced Learner1. Write for PublicationWant to become a really good writer? Make sure that your work is publicly available. The idea of a stranger reading your work is a powerful motivator to get it right. This doesnt mean that you have to become a full-time writer  in your target language (although there are certainly writers who write in a language that isnt their native language), just that you should seek out opportunities to publish works of writing. Heres a couple of ideas:Start a blog in your target languageGuest post on other blogs in your target language (especially if you dont want to commit to blogging yourself)Write a letter to the editor of a newspaper or magazine in your target languageSub mit a professional paper at a conference related to your profession.2. Practice Different Types of WritingAt an advanced level, youre working on more then learning set phrases used in writing. Instead, you want to master different types of writing. There are surprising cultural differences in some types of writingâ€"I had a French professor insist that an essay  must be five  paragraphs and had to adhere to a very strict format in order to be correct. Here are some of the types of writing youll want to work on as an advanced learner:Persuasive essaysNarratives of different lengthsCorrespondenceProfessional writing like reports and memos3. Retell Stories or Essays You Read in Your Target or Native LanguageRetelling stories (or other kinds of writing, depending on what type of writing youre working on) is a great way to practice. You read a piece of writing (of a manageable length, probably between 1,000 and 2,000 words), put the original aside and then try to replicate the piece of wri ting on your own. This exercise will both help you overcome writers block and teach you new vocabulary.Retelling stories is a good way to internalize the turns of phrase, vocabulary and sentence structure that native speakers of your target language use in their writing.4. Pay Attention to StyleYouve moved beyond merely avoiding gross errors in your writingâ€"so now its time to care about whether or not your writing sounds decent. This means varying your word choice by using synonyms and using sentence structures that arent only correct but that also sound good to a native speaker of your target language.5. Continue Getting CorrectionsOnce you get to an advanced level, its easy to assume that you dont need any more instruction. But if you really want to master writing, you need to continue getting corrections on your written workâ€"indefinitely. It doesnt have to be on every piece of written work you produce, but periodic corrections will help you continue improving your writing.Wri ting is one of the hardest things to do well as a non-native speaker of a language, because theres no room to hide behind mumbled errors  and because becoming literateâ€"even in your native languageâ€"requires quite a bit of effort and instruction. That doesnt mean writing should be neglected, because your overall language ability will often be judged solely on the basis of how well you write. There are lots of ways to improve your writing ability, but they can be essentially boiled down to three key components:Read a lotWrite a lotGet your writing correctedIf you can do those three things, youll see your writing ability increase until you can genuinely consider yourself a master!Emily Liedel  is a writer and polyglot. She speaks French, Spanish, Russian, German and Mandarin Chineseâ€"her goal is to speak all of the official UN languages fluently (HINT: Arabic is the language left on her list). Fullerton AP Tutoring Tips 5 Ways to Ace AP World History

Fullerton AP Tutoring Tips 5 Ways to Ace AP World History Tips from a Fullerton AP Tutor: 5 Ways to Ace AP World History Students have been back from winter break for a while but are probably not yet thinking about the AP tests they will take in the spring. Realistically, students should start thinking about a game plan for how they are going to achieve a 3 or better on their AP tests, especially if they are taking more than one advanced placement course or if theyre also planning to take the SAT or ACT this spring. One of the most common AP courses student take is World History. It’s important for students to remember certain things and be able to analyze text thoroughly enough to write several essays on the topic our private Fullerton AP tutors are here to help. The main issue is that students are expected to know about the history of several different countries throughout time. So how can a student ace their AP World History class? 1. Compare and contrast A skill that every student should master is how to compare and contrast different elements of history. They might be comparing two cultures, two different wars or conflicts, or two different periods of time but its something they will have to do over and over. Comparing and contrasting in an advanced placement course goes beyond making a list of similarities and differences. Students should be able to ask and answer the question, why? Why did a particular civilization behave in a certain way? Why did they want to expand their territory? Why did the civilization fall? Students who are having trouble getting started can fall back on the tried-and-true method of analysis: who, what, when, where, why, and how. 2. Take detailed notes Its essential for AP World History students to take detailed notes during class or any one-on-one tutoring sessions they may have. There are so many different cultures and time periods covered in this specific course that it’s easy to get mixed up or confused about one thing or another. Students who have trouble taking efficient notes are encouraged to start by referring back to a page number and paragraph they can look at when they want to study. Students should also discuss any note-taking issues with their tutor so they can work together to come up with the most efficient system that works for the particular student (READ: 5 Ways to Start Prepping for AP Exams). 3. Cause and effect Cause and effect is also an essential component of any history class, especially AP World History. Students need to be able to find out why a particular event took place. What was the cause? Was there a conflict or argument over land or wealth? Was one culture offended by an interaction with another? Was there miscommunication? Etc. If students look through their world history book, they will notice that certain cycles tend to occur over and over again. Hence the famous phrase, history repeats itself. Students who can truly understand the details of cause-and-effect are more likely to ace their exam in May. 4. Dates and timelines Memorizing dates is one of the more tedious elements of taking a history course, but it is really important. There are certain dates students will just have to memorize because theyre on the test but, more importantly, they want to know the order that events took place. For instance, the stock market crash of 1929 was followed by the Great Depression of the 1930s. Or, the Declaration of Independence in 1776 was followed by the American Revolutionary War. Dont fall behind in your AP courses! Our private Fullerton AP tutoring will help you score high on the exam. All blog entries, with the exception of guest bloggers, are written by Tutor Nerds. Using a Moving Team to Help You Unload

Using a Moving Team to Help You UnloadIf you want to make a move to the Province of Nova Scotia, and your girlfriend is against it, you might want to consider hiring a move tutor. While it may seem like a good idea to get the entire crew together and do everything yourself, it can be much more enjoyable if the entire family can come together and enjoy one another's company. It is a great way to keep everyone in your family together, rather than separate them into separate teams. Hiring a move tutor will help make your move more successful. You can find a moving company that will take the crispest mess and make it fit into your moving truck like a glove. A few hours with a moving team will make for a smooth move for any family moving to a new area. However, make sure you ask about their experience moving your stuff and if they offer a guarantee on the move. Don't get taken advantage of, just because they are willing to spend more money. The technicians that you hire will come prepared w ith a list of references and technician service to make your move go smoothly. This should be a common feature of any move technician. In some cases, it may be easier to find a moving company online, since there are now so many websites offering the service for a small fee. When you need to move, it is a good idea to have a moving party of people to look after your belongings and help you unload your truck at the end of the day. A move tutor will also have extra vehicles in the back yard to haul items and furniture back home.It is a good idea to give a good price range when choosing a company. Make sure you discuss all of the costs involved before hiring a moving team. If you plan on hiring a moving team, be sure you use their price quote in future to ensure you are getting the best deal for your family's move.Moving a trailer like Pixelmon will require a lot of effort and patience.
